Nice bird and head angle and I love the reflection. A little higher perspective here would have been better; does anyone know why?

Lovely shot Frank, you keep reminding me I must get to my grebes PDQ. The exposure and pose and detail is excellent.
I remember last year Artie you suggested a higher viewpoint on one of my grebe shots, a little higher and the junction between the grebe and the background would be a tad more pleasing.

Very nice open wing pose and HA on the Grebe Frank. Exposure looks perfect and the detail is nice. Arties good suggestion for a higher shooting angle would have kept the head out of the BG transition line. Sill looks great though.

Hi Frank, love the wing display and HA, and the light in this is exquisite. Sharp, and I do like the overall colours and stillness of the water. An opportunity well used.

Another beauty Frank, you do mange to catch the light very nicely on these Grebe shots and liking the very delicate touch of the wing on the water surface....excellent Frank...you're making us all look like amateurs hehehe

Thank you very much.
Without the many tips here from the Forum last year, I would be much worse.

great shot Frank, I love the pose and excellent light, sharp details. Good suggestions by Artie, slightly higher would also help with a slightly better view of the top surface of both wings
well done, TFS

Awesome pose and the wing tip touching the water is cool. IQ looks terrific. You could always lighten that dark line across the head, but yes a bit higher vantage point would have been good.
