    Default Rainbow

This is an in-camera HDR 3 images plus art vivid effect (Canon 5D Mark III). This camera is so much fun! Then a layer of buz sim from Topaz Simplify. This is from Hawaii and I really wanted vivid colors that make you think tropical and exotic. Of course, a rainbow means rain and many days I was soaked to the skin while I was pursuing the endemic honeycreepers with binoculars and camera.

Tropical & exotic it is! Love the color, and the effects.

I think your PP really added a nice effect to an underlying nice image. Great rainbow position in the frame. Just pulled the MK3 out of the box as my MK2 and myself went through the ice and into the drink. I was fine, the MK2 didn't make out so well...Can't wait to play with the MK3.

Nancy - really nicely done and love the placement of the rainbow. I need to experiment with the in camera HDR on my 5D3.

Nancy, what a lovely, tranquil, tropical scene I love my Mk III - wouldn't trade it for anything.

Perfect for the theme. Ephemeral. It does look warm and tropical.

The colors fit your intent very nicely, and the BuzSim treatment produced a great effect -- especially in the sky.

Thank you everyone! Nick, so sorry to hear you took an ice dunking. But the 5dMark III is a really nice consolation prize. Rachel, you most certainly should play with the HDR. One thing I did discover is that with CS5 I cannot open the 3 images that are used to create the final HDR image. I can see them in BreezeBrowser but they do not open in CS5.

Nancy, the first thing I thought of for this theme was a rainbow, but I haven't been able to find one, especially not as nice as this one! I love what the camera did for you, and the added Simplify is perfect. Very nice!
