Kind of reminds me of Winston Churchill minus the cigar.

Unusual image. I like it! I think I can see Winnie in it also.

I love this! Everything about it! I was recently out taking some very similar pictures, but mine were of gadwalls. We don't have bald eagles here, but we've got snow and we've got gadwalls. Not quite the same in the excitement department. Your picture is so appealing to me! I love the feet and outstretched talons! That stark white with just a little bit of detail in the snow, so lovely...

Awesome image Gail. The walking pose, raised foot, talons showing, nice exposure in whites and well composed! TFS.

Good call on the Winston Churchill resemblance Gail! The striding pose has a serious look that is somehow comical at the same time.

This eagle is about 4 years old. Great walking pose on its way to some food I suppose. Nice capture with the snow as background.

Hi Gail, well exposed, sharp, and love the determined look of the BE, raised foot and all. I can see a little bit off the top.

Wonderful pose, great exposure. Love the talons and expression. Most definitely needs a cigar, though.

Winston Churchill.....that's just plain silly....we all know he should have a cigar in his beak for that
The snow certainly makes a great contrasting backdrop especially on those talons......I suggest cropping a little more off the top though

Fun shot with a cool looking stride displaying those awesome talons. I see Churchill in his look and pose. Great job on the feather detail.. All your eagle shots are exposed very well. You've got them figured out. Well done.
