I like this one very much, Jon. Great environmental shot with good color, exposure, and details, plus the BG is terrific. The foliage IMO adds a lot. TFS.

    Jon:

I like the birds feeding pose, stump, colors, exposure. I could see it without the foliage on the left as well, but very nice as is.

I would consider cleaning up the white patches on the perch.

    Cheers

I like the feeding pose. Nice soft light quality. The overall composition is a success imo...one idea
at the time of capture would have been to up the iso, stop the f-stop down, and try and get more
of the foreground vegetation to fall within critical focus...since it is so flat up against the stump perch,
I think having it more in focus would work better. Another vote for ridding the perch of the white wash... :)

    Great suggestions above
I love this image for the colour tones, they are very soothing to the eye, bird feeding makes it nicer

Great perch and background Jonathan. If it was a setup, it was done very tastefully.

Hi Jon. Nice feeding behavior captured with good sharpness. Good exposure, very nice light, and a great background. Yet another vote for removing the white on the stump. This is very well done!
