    another one of my Barn Owl images,took quite a few,this is the lightest colored one of 4 that hunt this area,cannon500mm L IS F4,700MM FL,7D,ISO400,F5.6,1/2500S,CROPPED,sharpened,used tripod as well,comments good or bad.

    How good it is to see these in light, at our place these guys are completely nocturnal and we have to get the torches out to even watch them.
    i like the wing position here, unique and it compliments the over all frame. The BG is superb, i like the way the owl is looking below

    Different looking coming at you pose. Exposure and details look good. BG transition is ok but not ideal. I think if you created a catchlight in the right eye it would enhance the owl quite a bit. Thats if you arent opposed to that. Well done.

    Neat pose, lovely BG, nice to see the face fully sunlit. I do see a faint catchlight that could be enhanced for web posting. I could also see a version with a little canvas at top.

    Hi Chris, love the inflight banking pose, and the owl pops nicely against the BG. Before reading Dan's comment about the space at top, I would also take away at least half of it.

    Seems like you are nailing these guys nicely.

    Masters of slow flight perfectly captured. I think the angle emphasises his agilty.
    Wonderful light and background.

    Loose composition rocks! Would not change a thing. Great use of space.
    Background colors/control totally enhance the image.
