Very nice image full of detail, with the lovely water spots!! The only thing I notice there seems to be a grey spot beside the bird face, maybe dirt in the lens or sensor? Easy to clone out either way.

Amazing how similar your spoonies are to ours yet you don't have the pink and ours don't have the crown. You have nice sharpness and detaisl here. I would probably smooth out the darker part of the BG behind the bird b/c it is quite distracting. I would also crop this to a more standard vertical by removing some from the right if it were mine. At least I'd give it a try.

    Sanjeev,

I like portraits and the comments above are solid. Not sure why you set the ISO to 100, this is too limiting. The shot is compelling but the dust spot and dark line intersecting the head are opportunities to improve the image. Please publish the kit used and metering and, exposure mode as well,...

Portraits are hard and when they work,..they really work this is close. The light angle is good, try a tripod to add detail and take things to the next level! I am looking for critical detail here,..fine tune a bit. Keep em coming my friend.

Looks like you got some great dof on the face from the tip of the bill back to the back of the head. I also like the water droplet and that great red eye. Dust spot was already noted an easy fix
