    Default Mangrove Blue Flycatcher

    Hio all,

I like Flycatcher family and this is one of them found in North Borneo where I live

    Taken with Nikon D300s + 300mm 2.8 VR II, ISO 250 and cropped 33%

    Happy shooting !

He's a beautiful little bird and you've presented it to us with great colour rendition. I am OK with it being small in the frame but I am wondering if you can recrop the image to place a bit closer to the lower right corner...this would give him plenty of beautiful greenery to look into and also minimize the object it is perched on. Just a thought...

I am with Daniel on this one. Lovely bird and with a great pose. Exposure looks good and I really like the perch. The background (BG) is awesome. I would however like to see him lower to the right in the frame. i think it would render the image more powerful.
