Ive mentioned on previous posts, that Egyptian geese are very loud and aggressive to one another. For no reason other than minding his own business, the poor guy in the FG was attacked. This is one of the frames in 'attack' mode.
Taken early morning back in december.

Great action shot Stuart, attacker is stopped dead and sharp. Like to composition and crop, assuming you did.

The unique flight pose/ angle of view, and IQ on the flying duck is really nice.
The fg duck is a bit cramped in the comp., and being oof, does not
do much for the success of the image imo.

I love the action captured in the rear bird. Exposure and detail are perfect. I think the bird in the front adds a lot of interest and sort of balances the images. I like it a lot.

Super action stopping exposure excellent detail and inclusion of the goose in the foreground helps explain the aggressive pose.

Thanks Shawn. The FG goose wasnt actually planned to be in the frame, and no amount of aperture would have rendered it in focus, so I decided to leave it in to add to the 'drama'.

Thanks everyone else for your feedback.

    Hi Stuart,
The attacking goose looks great. Tack sharp and love the waterfall under the wings. I like the running pose and incoming angle very much.
Light and exposure are spot on.
I know the OOF goose tells the story but I think I would get rid of him! he is so small in the frame and so OOF that it takes away from the superb attacking duck shot.

Sharp as can be and explosive action, love the intense stare of the main bird....myself I dont think the oof foreground birds adds much to the image and the main subject holds it's own nicely, so imo opinion remove the oof bird

Excellent IQ, exposure and sharpness on the attacker. Love the splash. Had I not read your story, I wouldn't have known the oof bird was the target. So who won?

Great pose captured with nice detail and action. Agree that the foreground bird dosnt add to the image although I can appreciate why its there. Very sharp.

    Great shot Stu!!!
I really like the pose of the focused bird.
Excellent IQ and exposed very well.
Me personally I like the oof duck. It completes the story for me. Without it, it would just be
    another duck taking off.
    Well done.
