Default Snow Geese Blast-off Radial Blur

Okay, I'll admit it. I fully intended to try a couple of blurs on my photo shoot today, but I got so excited witnessing my first snow geese blast-off that I totally forgot to blur. So I tried a radial blur in Photoshop. (BTW, the blast off was truly amazing. I'll probably post the un-blurred image on Eager To Learn tomorrow.)

Assuming this photo doesn't make you so dizzy that it incapacitates you, all comments are welcome!

It's good to be that excited. I hope you get some more chances. This is certainly an OOTB Plan B. My suggestion would be to crop some from the top and left to move the center of the blur out of the center of the image.

This has a dizzying affect on me, but in a good way. Hope you get more blur changes with a flock like this! I'm hoping for one too. :)

Very cool idea, Wendy! I could see this blown up real large. I would definitely try moving the center of the blur off-center. I think that would make it even more dynamic. Well done!

Thanks to all of you for your input. I will definitely move the center of the blur...I agree that it would strengthen the image.

Wendy, I'm a little late but I agree with the comments above and on moving the center. I would have forgotten to do a blur in camera if I'd seen this big a blast-off too.
