Great colors on this shot Robert. The water color complements the bird well and the exposure and details look great. Nice clean reflection too. Well done

Nice work, Robert, I like the vertical comp and the IQ is very good.
The reflection is about as nice as you could ask for.

May be my monitor from the comments above, but it looks like the bird (and bird only) could use another round of sharpening.

Light quality is excellent. Composition is very good and makes visual sense to me given the subject's orientation to your shooting perspective. The foot coming out of the water and the reflection (though not "perfect"), are highlights of the frame. The eye is lacking a decent catchlight. A smidge of clockwise rotation is worth considering.

Very nice light and colors. The reflection adds a lot of interest.

Hi Robert, good low angle of capture, with good DOF on the Sandpiper. Reflection works well, and of course, the BG colours puts this up a few notches. If anything to improve the comp, I would come in from the LHS.

I like the overall mood to the image, great colours and slightly raised foot. Shawn has brought up a couple of valid points...

Nice comp and who wouldn't like that water color!
I wish the eye had a catchlight and would consider adding one.

Great shot with a wonderful reflection and the color tones are extra special, only wish for a slightly more side on HA to catch the eye a little better

Sweet reflection and lovely fg/bg colors. I love the slightly raised foot. Because of the pose, the vertical works.
