    You did as well as you could considering the equipment. Nice look-back pose, nice BG and the perch is OK. In post I'd try to reduce the contrast as it is quite strong as posted. Reducing the yellows on the foot would surely reveal a bit more details there.

    My friend uses these for falconry so i have a soft spot for them. Great looking bird. Surprised you got so close. Great you captured the open beak. These things are quite loud sometimes

    As Daniel mentioned the yellow seems too bright.

    Not sure if i would crop a but more from right to remove that gap in the branch

    Wow very neat looking brid. Tack sharp and lost of details. I would agree that it is a bit contrasty and the yellows are over saturated. I would love to see a repost with the suggestions applied.
