Prasanna, looks like you are a new member. Welcome to BPN. Super sharp image for first time out with a 500mm. Congratulations. Love the details, odors, head angle, and the nice BG. The frame is a bit tight and the perch isn't ideal, but it is an excellent first post.

Great first post! Nice IQ & BG. I like the bloody beak & prey item, however it's almost hidden by the perch.

Haven't seen many of these eye-level, perched photos of this species. Fine job.

Beautiful feather detail on this nicely lit Osprey Prasanna. I also love the gentle clean hues of the background.

    Prasanna:

A big welcome to BPN. You will find it a fine place to learn and grow as a nature photographer.

Good comments above about your osprey. Agree about being too tight in the frame, esp. on the left. The colors in the BG are very nice.

there is a faint sharpening halo along the leading edge of the bag wing and above the tail.

    Looking forward to more posts!

    Cheers

    Randy

I really like the pose especially with it's meal still in it's talon.
    Wonderful background and great IQ.
