    Hi Doug. I'll be going to Dos Venadas in a couple of weeks; is it as good as I've heard from others? Your owl seems a little soft as posted. It's an interesting perch; I'm curious as to what other forum members think about the angle of the tree. Personally, I would like to see it more upright. It would help if you would include the technicals on your photo posts, and also take advantage of the 800 pixel maximum dimension.

    empty space at the bottom is kind of iffy for me too. I would like to fill frame with tree.

    Well, the tree leans to the left and it was just too big to move...

    Actually this has been cropped from the bottom already. This was as close as we could get to him and was done with a 500 AF-S and a TC14E. About all the reach I had.

    It's a great place with HUGE, well designed blinds. We were a bit early for the migration but you should probably hit it just right. Well worth the trip.
