    A different view of a hummer, we usually see a flight shot, this is nice. IQ is not the greatest and the BG is muddy but cool behavior.

    Have to agree with Jack, and yes it is a nice composition in particular I think the background need more noise reduction/blur to smooth out the graininess and I'd also suggest crop out the bright area top right

    You did a good job capturing this image, and it is nice to see a hummer that is not in flight. Face is nice and visible. The IQ does seem to be lacking as I am not seeing a whole lot of details in the feathers. The 7D usually has a tough time with ISO's over 800 and I wonder whether how much noise reduction you applied to the bird itself. I am also seeing some degradation in the background. Looking forward to seeing more.
