    Another Barn Owl taken the other day,seconds before it struck its prey,a field vole,cannon 500mm IS L F4,7D,TRIPOD,700MM FL,manual exp,f9,1/2500s,iso800,cropped,sharpened,touch of hue and sat.comments good or bad.

    I love the focus on the bird captured here, the wing position is a big add on to making this beautiful
    the talons that hang below ready to pounce make this very special image to me,
    The two layered bg adds a lot to it

    Chris great capture, good exposure focus and colours, equally good background. Still struggling to get a shot here, several "photographers" have appeared on the scene and they are charging about trying to catch the bird. They have had a few words spelt out regarding welfare of the subject, lets hope it has worked.
