1DX 300mm 1/2000sec f/4 ISO 1250. baited owl. I cloned the perch he had taken off from as it was a bit distracting.

What an image!! Reminds me of a WW2 bomber plane!!

I dont know anything about composition, but for an imcoming bird like that, is centred the correct way? I am assuming so as this looks great to me at least ;)

I would hate to be a mouse seeing this coming at me!. Excellent wingtip flare, razor sharp, the snow and BG colors are awesome.

Ah, finally I get to comment after only 4 others, instead of the 25 I usually find. Great image overall, good composition, sharpness. Love the snow. I might clone out some of the smudges (OOF snowflakes?) under the owl's right wing (left side of photo). Very well done, Arash.

Excellent incoming pose captured, Arash. The falling snow in the background adds interest.

Quite an intense image. Love the symmetrical pose (including the two tail feathers!!) and this is a great view of the large wingspan.

Hi Arash. Love the "different" wing position and the snow adds a lot to the mood. Another excellent image!

My favorite to date. Those wings and down the barrel pose are simply killer.
