Even though my kayak drifted oh so close to the flock, they just stayed there. I had to hang my feet into the water and drag them on the bottom to stop, because I never want to scare them away. This is my pano pelican shot. From somewhere on Merritt Island, where I think I was allowed to be. Nikon D300, 300 f/4 @ f/4, 1/8000 (eesh), is0 400, -0.7.

Cool image, the water is gorgeous blue. I would rather not see the bit of sky at the top. I would also like to see this in a larger version.

45, definitely, 45. Cool shot with great colors. Was this cropped or composited from several shots? In any case, clever image. I agree with cropping the sky from the top.
