I just returned from a lovely few weeks in tropical Hawaii. We had a fair amount of rain but then there were those moments when the sun peaked through the clouds. This was taken at such a moment just as the sun was setting, lighting the tops of the waves as they lapped the sand.

In camera blur, Canon 5D Mark III HDR with art vivid setting, Nik color effex graduated neutral filter, a bit of Pixel Bender.

Great color and blur. I like where the white falls, vertically, in the frame.

Hi Nancy - I like the tones to this and the blur as well. I keep playing with a screen crop from the top and I think it strengthens the image.

Lovely colors and blur on this one, Nancy. Great idea to use HDR vivid with the ocean - it brought out some beautiful colors

Lovely soft blur and colors, Nancy. I think cropping some off the bottom might strengthen the composition.

Thanks all! I played with the cropping before I posted and finally settled on this one. I could easily also trim as suggested.
