    I love to see large numbers of these winter visitors. The females make a really cool whistling sound that people love. Late afternoon light.

    Kerry,

    The colors and detail are excellent - soft light is beautiful. The muted background is really good and a lesson to all,..the background is "part of the picture "why not make it complement the subject!

    ps - we are going to Bosque this year - book it!!

    Kerry, I like the HA and how the green BG complements his mask (I can't wait for us to get leaves on the trees again).

    Based on the angle of the duck and the BG ripples, the image perhaps should be rotated a couple of degrees CW, but that is just my opinion.
