    Gail:

Great wing stretch, talon display, good detail in feathers, squarish crop works for me because of the strong diagonal from the wings. Sharp and well exposed.

    Open bill a plus.

    Cheers

Great action, with perfect upstretched wings -- pretty amazing to catch this full frame without clipping a wing. Nailed the crop. Love the diagonal from wing tip to fish.

A superb dynamic image Gail, I like the intense stare, the talons, wing position and show of tail feathers. Well done.

Wow! Full frame. Pretty darn close. Excellent landing pose showing the extended legs and talons. Nice detail in the wing and body due to the perfect exposure settings. Great Eagle shot Gail

One of the few times that I feel a square crops works nicely and you've worked the exposure very very well in such bright conditions......those talons are way too wicked....I'll be having bad dreams tonight now lol

Hi Gail, excellent exposure, and well timed to capture the extended legs and raised wings. Great to see the bait too. Ive never been one for square crops, but this actually works.

Beautiful wing position on this well lit and greatly detailed image Gail. This spectacular Eagle against a snow background is a standout image.
