Great wing stretch, talon display, good detail in feathers, squarish crop works for me because of the strong diagonal from the wings. Sharp and well exposed.
Great action, with perfect upstretched wings -- pretty amazing to catch this full frame without clipping a wing. Nailed the crop. Love the diagonal from wing tip to fish.

One of the few times that I feel a square crops works nicely and you've worked the exposure very very well in such bright conditions......those talons are way too wicked....I'll be having bad dreams tonight now lol
Hi Gail, excellent exposure, and well timed to capture the extended legs and raised wings. Great to see the bait too. Ive never been one for square crops, but this actually works.
