There was quite a few swallows coming and going from this perch. On this occassion, there seemed to be a bit of interaction between two of them. I wished for a better wing position of the top swallow, but will take it until I manage a better one. Taken at a wetlands south of Johannesberg in January.

Stuart, that is one cute image. Love the interaction, the sharpness nd details of both birds. Wish the perch had some foliage or something, but hey, the birds like it. Nice BG. Well done.

    Stuart Sir:
Absolutely superb image. Both the swallows are tack sharp.I like the flight pose with nice fanned tail feathers and calling pose of other one.
Wish bird in flight would have been little bit on right side. Love the frame.

    Regards,
    Satish.

hehehehe....love it Stuart.....great interaction and very much like the bird in flight with the wonderful tail spread catching the light.........my only thought to improve would be not to have the bright bottom third of thre backdrop, nicer if it were more even overall....or not

I think I would take that one too, you did extremely well to get both in such good focus, love the fanned tail and the eye contact between the two birds, super shot Stu.

    Hi Stuart,
Gotta love 2 sharp birds in the same frame. Nice to see the front and back sides of the swallows.
You had nice light as well and I like the BG,
    Gail

Getting both birds sharp is a big bonus. Not that easy, as you know. Techs look great and the open mouth and the smooth BG make this a special capture. Nice light as well. Well done.
