The passage is very narrow and slopes downward. Thus the mountains appear to be leaning downward and towards each other but that is the way it is. The very dark area is where the small passage that goes between the two rocky mountains. Very difficult to describe or photograph it's majesty. The only way to get many images without people would be to go with a national geographic group or everything has been closed off except for photographers. What a dream that would be.

I really like the diagonals here. I realize you may be excluding people but I wish for something to ground it. You did well with getting under the bushes though.

An interesting technique to get rid of people is use a 10 stop nd filter. You can do exposures over 30s midday, letting all the moving people average out.

Nicely composed Judy and I like the vivid colors. Paul has a great suggestion on the extreme ND filter and using a super long exposure.

The colors really get you and the idea of a 10 stop ND to get rid of people is very clever.

    Hi All,
Almost looks like Zion......as far as the 10 stop ND..........take a look at David K's post in friends and family of the slots.........won't always work......but still worth a shot......or work on that NG slot........I like what you did with what you had........especially the V of the sky bringing me back in and showing the way,
