    Default Crepe Myrtle blur

This was taken right outside my front door. I have a crape myrtle that has huge trunks so I'm always doing blurs of them. This incorporated some leaves and spanish moss. I used Nik Viveza to increase the brightness and a little bit of saturation and then a slight Glass filter. I finished it off with a slight Fractalius layer.

Interesting blur Cheryl, and a different style than most. I like the green and brown colors and the wispy tendrils. The Fractalius is very subtle!

There's just enough blur to give a very nice, soft abstract quality. I agree with Kerry about the green and brown, and I like what you did with the composition.

Hi, Dennis, thanks! I'm glad you're back - we missed you. I hope you enjoyed your Florida trip and I'm sorry our schedules didn't allow us to meet up for some photography. I'm anxiously awaiting your Dudley images

I love the effect. I think the composition may be slightly unbalanced..Almost as if you could cut it in half horizontally and have two images. The frac and the colors are gorgeous.
