    Default Grassland Runner

This is a Indian Courser a bird found in the scrub grasslands , the local language translation of the name is Runner . Its a apt name as the bird prefers to run around the grass as it picks up the insects . The head design and the long legs with whites are the unique points of this bird, it prefers the grass to be low so that it can observe the surroundings while it feeds.

We were out to try and spot the sandgrouse in the grasslands and we got this one, this was shot from the car window without a beanbag.

I think the exposure is awesome, the grass looks perfect the way it defocuses into the blue. I think a little more room top and bottom would work.

Excellent environmental shot & shooting angle. Great IQ. I do suggest to clone the OOF straw behind the bird's leg. TFS

Neat bird, and thanks for providing information about the feeding behaviour. Well exposed, and I like the clean habitat. The erect posture is good. Crop is a bit tight IMO and I would remove the grass blade touching the bird's bottom. A slightly better head angle towards us would have been ideal.

Beautiful looking bird, liking it's head colors a lot, the shooting angle being slightly below head height works very well, sits in the wide frame nicely as well and very much liking the subtle color tones on backdrop and grasses

Cool species, excellent low angle and nice light. I love the habitat too.
I'd add a bit more room at the bottom, if possible. Did you get any with the head turned slightly our way?
    Nice work Vishal.

Vishal, you nailed this one...You definitely did well in terms of positioning yourself to get this angle from car window...I agree about adding touch at the bottom. Beautiful alert pose, clean surroundings and BG..Very well done.

A bit more room on the top and bottom would make this great picture perfect (in my opinion) Fine job otherwise.

Beautiful subject and an appealing frame. I think that it would lend itself to a vertical composition, as an additional option, but fine as presented.

Beauty shot of a nice looking bird. I wish to have more room at the bottom and the top and less on the left.

    Thanks Karl
I guess i missed answering this , when i made this image from the car, i had to rotate it nearly 4 degree CCW which got a lot of my top of however yes it can be added, there is a bit more on the bottom in my original frame however there is a lot of rock and OOF grass with lots of red and black rock with too is OOF, i tried a version with it however i had to clone out too may things at the bottom and it doesnt make it a very nice looking image , i could raise the top space rightly since its one colour.

Thanks for the feedback friends its really helpful
