Super exposure on this one and it's nice and sharp. Love the blue water setting, the splash and the wing spread. I would crop a little up from the bottom (to one of the cuts in the water) and a tad off of the right to compensate.

Great timing, and nice wing position. Good exposure too. I agree with Marina that a slightly tighter crop might help. Well done.

LOvely pose Karl. It seems to have just popped up off the water. Water color is also very nice with some warm colors there. I really like the dof.

Nice timing Karl, wonderful down swept wings and water splashes, you've captured the water in a nice shade of blue as well. Agree it needed a crop and the repost is better, but for me i would of just cropped the lighter band of water from the top of the image

Love the take-off pose with the running motion and full wings-down position. Great job with the exposure and processing. The water looks super too. I'm with Phil on the crop, that was my first gut instinct.

Terrific take off pose, great IQ, exposure is spot on, and repost is much better.

Great species. Very nice bright light quality. Good exposure work. Action is excellent. I dig the water movement.
About the only thing that I did not care for is how messy the reflection is. The repost in #5 helps in that regard.
    Sweet shot Karl.

Hi Karl, well timed for the take off, and you certainly nailed the sharpness. Great exposure, and love the curled primaries. I do like the colour of the water, and your repost works better.
