Created today 5 mins from the house here in Ourique.

Two days ago I came across a clan of 20 Little Bustards and today I returned to see if they had come any closer.
I was excited to watch the males engaged in their famous display but unable to get shots with my kit.

I decided to try my old 1.4 11 TC which does not work well with the 7D.

I will continue to get those display shots if the clan remains here.

Hi Richard, you are lucky to witness a fairly large gathering of this species. These guys and girs are very similar to our Southern black Korhaan's. Hopefully to get to see the display. Comp wise, I would take at least half off the bottom.

Nice finding and image, Richard. I agree with Stuart on the bottom half.

Nice to see all of those ha's aligned your way. I also like removal of oof fg. Photo looks a bit dim or dark on my monitor also. Good luck on getting a display shot.
