    Default Black-faced Monarch

This is a monarch flycatcher of wetter forests that migrates down the east coast of Australia in summer.

Cool looking bird not seen often.Nice pose and angled perch with a nice amount of leaves in the scene. The smooth green BG sets off the bird well. Exposure and detail look great. Well done

Hi Greg, another one of your Aussie species I havent seen before. Love the inquisitive pose, well exposed, and I do like that BG. Although the top leaves URC frame him in the image, if this were mine, I would remove them.

Never seen this bird. I love the vegetation and bg, nicely composed. I like the colors of this bird although it is an unusual combination.

Nice one Greg, we dont get to see many of these on camera, liking the eye contact and looking extra good at ISO 3200

Hi Greg, I love how your birds are always nicely framed by vegetation. Never too less, never too much, just right. I like the slightly awkward pose and the look the bird is giving you. The clean bg and the slanted slender perch is great.
Is this is a set up? Looks great, regardless.
