Interesting image with a most unusual environment.
I like the mud and the puffed up chest and the prey in the mouth. Just wish the fish was facing our way.
Tack sharp and good IQ
I like the balance the sharp plant in the RLC gives the image,
Gail

Is this a young Dalmatian Pelican? There may be a typo in the title. Yes to a bit of head turn towards us....

Nice detail and light and not so much an unusual environment for a Pelican here amoung the mangrove swamps....I rather like the mangrove seedling on the right as well. Pelicans getting the fish first is the usual here as well....they are very much the gluttons as their big beaks indicate.
