    Joel,

First let me say I have never posted a BB picture in all my BPN years and need to use a setup like this I guess,..great shot. I might reduce the perch seems kinda long IMO and take a layer off the top - but thats me. The eye has several light points as well might work it a bit, but on balance well done. The colors are fantastic you could almost desaturate the blues some to fine more detail - you know me Joel,.. I always want more feather detail. Keep em coming brother,...and as always you show birds in their most beautiful state - thank you.

Joel, Your Back grounds are to die for ! Love the detail in the feathers as well as the Perch . I hope I can get good enough to be able to suggest improvements ,but as of now ,they all have looked great !

A lovely shot of a beautiful bird. The colours look amazing and a great perch. I can see why you've gone for a vertical crop but I'm wondering how the image would look with a horizontal crop, showing just the top section of the perch and with some canvas trimmed from the top - I think it would have even more impact for me.

He's a plump little fellow, at least compared to what I see in Ohio.

Wonderful background and pose! Really pretty bird with lovely colors. I'd be inclined to crop a bit off the top and right side (same ratio) just to see how that would look. Very nice shot.
