    Michael:

I like the lighting, nice backlighting with enough on the front to show well. Nice comp.

I would consider softening the blob on lower right frame edge a bit, and request no URL on the image, just the copy right info.

    Cheers

The backlighting is providing some neat see-through effect on the feathers. Good BG and full wingspread. I see a bit of a purplish cast on the head ans shaded parts of the wings, and I could see a crop from below to just above your signature.

impressive pose captured mid air, the backlit is impressive and your idea to do this against light works well
Wish the head was in a side ways or anyother way, but in wild we take what we get at that moment
the copyright is a bit distracting otherwise a amazing image

I like backlit images when done correctly. This fits that category. very nicely done. I also like where you have placed the bird in the frame. Layered BG is awesome. And nice to see all the details inspite of the back light. Well done.

This image spoke to me from the moment I opened it. Love the pose and the comp you chose. Super exposure on a not too easy subject/lighting situation.

Woe, impressive shot with difficult lighting. How much time did you have to decide on the exposure? Love the details of the wings and the back lit. This is be o ing my nemesis bird. I have seen them often enough, but all of my shots have just gone straight to the trash bin. Well done.

Very impressive image. The wings have come out sharp too.
