Very nice shot Frank. Love the pose and the flared wings. Exposed well and beautiful detail. The ultra smooth BG makes this shot special. The subject pops off the BG nicely. I like the comp and where you cut off the perch. Very well done.

This is very nice Frank, I do think you've captured a very good pose for this bird and composed in the frame perfectly. The light is perfect particularly the underwing, color and sharp from head to foot.... all perfect imo....one of the nicest of this type of bird I've seen I'm sure, a work of art !

    This is lovely Frank.
Great pose and light and the BG is "to die for".

Hooray the shorebirds are colouring up!!
    Absolutely stunning Frank.

The only improvement I can see would be if that little bit of shadow on the left wing was not present.

Full marks!! Excellent pose lighting and exposure, lovely detail and a pleasing background, one of the best black tailed godwit shots I have seen.

Lovely shot. I really like how the bird is angled just a little bit towards you and that tiny little separation between head and the far wing. Looks great.

Beautiful shot Frank! I love the wing position and colors on the bird. And the green BG helps set off the bird as well.

Very pleasing as is! Pose, colours, processing...even the nicely weathered man-made perch looks good.

Dynamite image! Simply wonderful throughout. I keep going back to the perfectly smooth background. Not a ripple in it anywhere. Fabulous!

Hi Frank, good IQ in this, and just love the light. The pose is interesting with the semi raised wings, and overall, sharp with good detail. Killer smooth BG.

Nicely captured, Frank. I can't find anything that throws it off. Great bird to have sitting up there. Fine job.
