    Default Silent Hunter

GGO from Ottawa with Daniel. The owls fly very quietly and sometimes surprise you

Very nice Arash. Great incoming pose with an intent stare. Techs are great and I like the distant habitat BG. Lucky you to have the chance to be so close to such a beautiful creature. Well done and look forward to more from your trip.

Looks like you did well in Ottawa.

Spectacular as usual! The faded trees in the background and the clean details on the owl are great.

    Check out the HD file

I like the soft silver blues, full wingspan, fanned tail and pov. KInda wish the v shaped tree trunk on our right was toned down.

Absolutely first class capture, super action, I would still suggest however that the palest plumage is a little too bright.

What a lovely color combination. Owl really pops off bg. Excellent incoming pose. Excellent dof, not too much and not too little.

Great job of capturing the perfect wing position. The eye contact is good and the details are stunning on the HD image. DOF just right as well. Nice capture!

Thanks Jon, you mentioned this before too and I pointed out it is not bright. This is how a great grey owl looks like. I am not sure if your monitor is calibrated properly.

Arash, this is stunning. To be able to shoot a GGO in flight at close range and in perfect light! I think many of us wouldn't mind paying a small fortune to be with you and Daniel to shoot this owl. Tack sharp, intense eye, nice OOF BG. Was there snow in the ground to help lighten up the underwing?

This is unique. I like the pose and colors of this GGO against this BG.
