    More practice on my flight shots with the 500. The light was so perfect this evening.

    Great capture, Cheryl! These guys are soooo fast, and you got him/her coming at you! How much cropping did you do here?

    lovely shot, love the colors, the BG, and the eye. When you said 20-30% crop, does it mean to crop away 20-30% and retain 70-80%? If so, great capture such bird at such close range!

    Nice capture Melissa. I like the wing spread and the pattern on the top of the wing. nice head position and hanging feet. Looks like your practice is paying off, well done

    I agree with you that the light is lovely. Nice BG.
    I would clone out the tiny little white spot under the right thigh.
    Nice incoming angle. This would be a great shot for educational purposes as it shows the red shoulders perfectly,

    Excellent flight shot, I love the dangling feet! Good call on the widescreen crop as well, giving him space to fly into.

    Good on ya girl for getting such a nice sharp shot of a hawk flying right at you. Those are always the hardest for me. I lose the focus on the face pretty quickly as they take off towards me. You are getting to be a real pro with that 500 and the bif.

    The light is absolutely gorgeous and you captured an interesting pose. I like the raised head. It's nice and sharp.
