    Default Common Tern approaching nest

Several rainy days have had me looking through old images, and finding a bunch that I never posted for one reason or another. In this case, the light was so poor at Nickerson Beach the day we visited last August that the high ISO compromised the IQ. But I still liked the environment and flight position of this one, so thought I'd share it.

    Nice environment shot, Bill.
You get amazing results with the D7000 at high Iso.
    Great PP work.

I like the greens and the diagonal line created by the grasses.
Wish for a bit more head turn,
    Gail

I never would have guessed that this was high ISO -- a very delicately rendered image.

Bill...I really like this shot! The environment really helps it along as well.

This has a light and airy feel and I really like it. You made good work with poor conditions.

Thanks Grace. I just wished for some detail in the whites, but you get what you can get. Looking forward to trying again this year.
