    Perhaps a bit off the top, but one fine image either way. Great detail for such a slow SS.

    Another fine Snowy Owl image. Exposure looks perfect. I love those feathered feet. I almost want some CW rotation to make his eyes horizontal, but this is probably the way he was perched.

    Look at those talons! Bird and perch look great. You could subtly dodge the highlights on the belly to minimize the shadowed look there. vertical was a good choice, you just needed to point your lens down more IMO.
