    Default Anhinga Feathers

This is a full-color image from a live bird this morning (where else but Anhinga Trail). I've experimented with this type of image before, but never quite had the right bird, light, and focal length to pull it off. I like the details, how about you?

I like it. Very artsy. It almost has a headdress look to it.

Nice image with an unusual view. Nicely done Judd. I like the repetive pattern and subtle detailed textures. Works well and I would like to see it as a large format print (or painting for that matter).

This is great -- tons of detail and nicely composed. Hard to tell from the reduced image but the color variation in the blacks makes me wonder whether there is some moire that needs to be dealt with.

Can't imagine what you will be able to do with your new lens Judd !!!!

I like the cropping and abstract quality Might suggest increasing mid level contrast Big Congrats !!!!

    Hi,

It is so good to see something different. Not that I don't like looking at magnificant bird images, such as I see before me on BPN. So arty, love the diagonal lines and feather detail.

    Hey Judd,

This is wonderful. Very creative. Have you try this image in B&W?

The lines are great and could you get more feather detail?
This would work well in Outside The Box, because it is.
    Well seen, well captured.

Excellent vision Judd. The composition with the 3 feather layers, diagonal positioning, tonality, and screaming detail put this over-the-top.

    Congrats.

I agree this would work well in Out Side the Box. Congratulations on a very artful image.
