Default Where to shoot Wildlife in Panama City?

    Hi everyone,
I will be taking a quick trip with my husband to Panama City in March and would like any advice on where I could go for some great bird/nature/wildlife photography for a day or half day trip. Also if anyone knows anybody there that does private photography day tours would be helpful as well. Thanks so much

Hmmm...funny you should ask. Earlier this week I met a traveling photographer who had just come to St. Augustine from the Panama City area. He was telling me about how he enjoyed the St. Marks Wildlife area east of Panama City. I lived in Panama City in the 90's, and I remember that area being wild and unspoiled, with lots of waterfront opportunities. Also google Cape San Blas, it's between St. Marks and Panama City. St. Andrews State Park, just west of town, is right on the gulf, so I'd check that out too. 'Don't know of any photo tours though.

The Pipeline Road is only about 40 mins taxi ride from the city.
If you ever go , go to Gamboa which is where it is. Soberania National Park - possible Harpy Eagle?
You can stay at Ivans B&B and walk. Many birds.
