    Default Godwit in gunslinger mode

When I look at this image I think of western movies I have seen and this guy looks like a gunslinger ready to challenge me to a draw. I took this yesterday morning at Ft. Desoto where I ran into Artie and Denise leading a group.

Beautiful image...nice low pov. Good light and sharp. Love your caption. Well done.

Unique perspective, Allan. The bird has nice details and I like the fact that you can see one foot. I think I would crop some off of the bottom. That space seems to be pulling my eyes.

    I really like this.
The light is beautiful and I like the "down the barrel" gaze. I find it very hard to pull that look off.
    Good IQ and composition.
I would take a bit more off the bottom,
    Gail

Cool! Apt title :-) I love the bubbles surrounding the one foot and the uplifted claw on the other. The two legs and the bill form an interesting triangle. Love it!

Thanks for the comments. I do agree, Marina and Gail, that it would be better with a bit off the bottom. I did that on the copy I am saving.

Great job catching a very cool and different pose!

Looks a bit green from my end.

You might be right Mike. I can't tell much on my laptop. I will lot at my images with a more focused look once I get home.
