Sweet shot Joel! Love the facial expression and detail on the crest. Perhaps a teeny bit off the top and left? Perch and leg detail are great.... and in this case, I don't believe they "detract" from the image. Super nice work.

What a pleasing image, Joel. I love the perch, the BG and the pose. Very nice exposure and details in your bird.

Very nice shot of a cute bird. Wonderful pose, perch, and background. It just may be my monitor, or the variety of tit-mouse, but ours around here are darker. The legs also seem to have a bluish cast. Maybe a little burning might bring back a darker color? It's a wonderful photo non-the-less.

Cracking shot, Joel! I love the detail you got in the eye especially. The perch and BG are lovely as well. The icing on the cake (for me) is the little touch of green moss at the bottom.

    Joel,

You know I love your work but the sharpening looks interesting to me, what was the method and settings used?

Oh,..I love the background and nice one setting the flash power manually that is an art IMO.

Thanks Jeff.....I believe all I used on this was a very low setting in Topaz Detail and then Bicubic sharpener when I reduced it for posting.
