Lovely shot excellent techs....but shouldn't it be a portrait as opposed to a landscape format?

Mmm. That is an interesting comment. This is pretty much how the small branch entered the frame in my camera, which was in a landscape orientation and more or less level. Rotating clockwise does not look too bad though.

    Thanks

Dave, I reckon it's just a matter of preference or perception, I am not surprised you say it is how it was, it just seemed to me a portrait version would look better/ or should I say more expected?

Hi Dave, very pleasing composition with the slightly curved diagonal of the branch with blossoms. I would have preferred to have a more even BG. The greens provide an excellent canvas for the flowers. A small step to the left may have done the trick.
Can't wait for blossom season! It has been too cold for too long here....

Thanks Jerry and good ideas. I second the motion for some nice spring weather--daffodils, tulips...

Hi Dave. Again, lovely soft light, good detail in the whites, good overall sharpness, and a dreamy background that adds mood to the image. I like the comp as presented. A beautiful image!
