Nice one. I like the over the shoulder look. The detail in the bird is nice and the BG and environment work well.

Beautiful bird, sharp, good eye contact, nice perch, and a nice BG. Good light, too. Well done.

    Girish,

Very clean image with great detail throughout. The look-back head angle is great. Catchlight adds the bit of life to the eye.

Looking forward to more from this series, especially if you got any in flight!

Hi Girish, love the light in this, and well timed to capture the lookback pose. Great DOF throughout the whole image, sharp with lovely colours, and I wish you had a touch of space on the RHS, so that the piece of perch is not touching the edge of the frame.

Beautiful image. The perch is just great, as is the BG and bird.

Beautiful light, great perch, terrific look-back pose, and smooth bg. Checks all the boxes for me. Well done.

Beautiful light colours and pose, I would consider cropping about 12mm from the base, also depending upon crop I would attempt to include the tip of the branch on the RHS, failing that I would clone a bit off so that it looked as if it was within the frame, maybe even take the tip of another branch and clone it to put a few leaves on the end.

Really excellent! The bird is just perfect. Despite the popularity of "asymetrical placement of subject" on this site I think there is excessive "negative space" on the left of the image.
