    Default Zebra Perch

Driving through the nature reserve close to my house, I enjoy capturing various images of Zebra's. When the Egrets are hitching rides, its an added bonus. This egret had just landed on the back. Taken early morning.

This is such a beautiful image, Stu. There are so many lovely components to enjoy. The details and exposure on the bird are great and so is the pose. The perch is fabulous. Love the warm light.
The flowers in the bg add a nice depth. I could see just a bit more added to the top, but fine as is.

    Great image, Stuart.
You realize what the envy factor is of most of us?
About as cool a perch as can be had.
Now the rest of us have to post birds on sticks?

Kidding aside, good sharpness, exposure, pose and of course the perch!

I thought Zebras where black and WHITE?! haha :)

Great capture and very nice detail in the whites (of the bird). Heck of a perch, too!

A lovely image Stuart I do so miss my years in the bush, though i suppose I do live in the European equivalent.
The exposure looks spot on and the BG sets a lovely sense of place. This is a Burchells Zebra is it not? Weirdly a couple of weeks ago I found myself at Lisbon Zoo and was actually able to stroke a couple of Grevys!

Stu they just keep coming! Another super shot, the egret is just brilliant, great exposure detail and pose, the perch - you have included just the right amount, I don't know how much you had to crop, if any, but it is just right to my eye.

Nice job on the exposure and detail. I like the striped perch too. Such a cool African scene. Well done.
