Spectacular image, love it! How is the AF speed of the 300 2.8 II+1.4 III particularly for BIFs?

Nice work Arash, cool down the barrel pose, nice and sharp as usual.
Looking forward to more, nice you made the trip to see these beautiful Owls.

Love the incoming angle of the owl.

A super capture, great pose and excellent timing. It does appear a little too bright to me, I have taken the liberty of making an alternative version for your consideration, I will be interested to read your comments

How many mice have had that as their last view! Great shot Arash. Those eyes are so intense.

Fantastic! Oh... Fantastic (did I say that before?) ok.... OP also looks a bit bright on my monitor, RP looks rather "blue"? I'm certainly not the best at PP... but somewhere in between to make the Owl really POP?

Cheryl, I am indeed exhausted! I find the OP just right...that is the correct "brightness" of the owls, and the BG is actually white snow (which is also bouncing light on the owl from below). Cool head-on image with neat wing positions. It was a pleasure meeting you Arash!

Thanks everyone for comments, I also find the brightness in the original closest to the scene.

Many thanks to Dan, who was my host and made it possible to capture these images. I will post more soon!
