Exposure and the f11 look optimum to me. Wonderful detail in the petals. The background is less obtrusive, a very clean and well focused image.
I don't know what your feelings are regarding including the top leaves on the stem to which the bloom is attached? Just an observation, and many may disagree, but I like the image however makes me think "have the leaves been chopped off"?

Now that it is pointed out I agree about the c/o leaves at top and particularly the curled over one. I was am also noticing more the slight merge of the pink bud and bg leaf.

    Thanks Again Jonathan

Hi Dave. Lovely soft light and good detail in the whites and pinks. Nice overall sharpness on your subject and a good background. The leaves are not bothering me and I prefer the tighter crop of this image to that of your previous post (your other post is also nice - I just like this one more ). This is very well done!
