    I shot what was available and hoping for Readheads and Canvasbacks. They were around but they did not fly before the sun was gone.
    I tried out a new combination of 1.4 extenders that I read about on this forum a few days ago.
    It looks like it can be used for BIF shots as the focusing speed remains fast.

    Nicely done Karl, loving the blue water as a backdrop and eye level shot....I reckon this could do with another round of sharpening though at least on head and body

    Nice flight capture Karl. Beautiful wing position and BG. Interesting head position. Head may need another round of sharpening.

    This is very nice. I like the wing position and the little blur at the wingtips. Sharpness is very good and the eye contact is a great. TFS

    What a beauty lovely detailand psoe super colours and very sharp, and the background is also pleasing.
    I was going to post a mallard... but after this I don't think I will, I shall have to go back and try for better!
