    Default Napping in the Dunes

More of a Landscape photo than Avian I suppose, but I thought a look at the
habitat on the Oregon Coast these Owls chose this year was nice.
They have good taste in choosing their surroundings!
This is about 1/4 mile from the Pacific Ocean as the Sand Dunes transition to the Coastal pines.
    Snowy Owl of course.

    Excellent habitat view.
Love the tall grasses around the owl.

    Very nice Dan.
Has a nice, peaceful mood with the sleepy owl and the windblown grasses.
I would like to see the owl a bit further to the right in the frame so would take about 10% off the RHS and a sliver off the top and bottom to compensate and maintain the proportions.
Lovely small in the frame shot,
    Gail

I like the bird in the environment it works well for me, I would suggest however cropping say about an inch of the RHS. I would suggest lower the brightness or exposure on the bird just a little and then increase contrast just a little, I suspect more detail will be seen.
