    Another beautiful shot.
    Great mood and muted palette.
I would definitely crop the stump out of the LHS of the frame and blend the OOF grasses to the left of owl to lessen their impact.
Great weathered perch with nice lines,

    Another nice one Dave.
I think if you have the whole stump on the left I would leave it in, if not as shown
I think cropping it out would look better.
    I really like the perch.

Another really nice portrait of this SEO, Dave. I am fine with the stump on the left being left in. Super warm colors that all work so well together. Excellent IQ. I really like the sweep of that stump he's on and how it goes counter to the sweep of his body.

Very nice picture with nice muted earthy colours. I would add canvas to the right and eliminate the stump from the left, if it were mine, Dave.

    Very nice shot.
Love the perch, great pose, and very nice background.
I agree on cropping out the stump.
    Well done.

Really like the pose and the perch and would be tempted to try for a vertical. If horizontal, I would either crop out the stump or include all of it if you have it.

Thanks everyone for the excellent comments. I do have some verticals on this perch so can go that route as well. I am on a bit of a habitat binge right now, but as soon as Dan mentioned including all of the stump I realized that was the option I needed. Next time.
