    Default More Stork Antics

    Attached Images Attached Images

Today was not a good day for stork pics, no wind and overcast; they all spent the day down in their cosy nests.
So heres another from yesterday, the stacked 4/5 will have to wait a bit.

Cropped from the left and top, little PP was needed, adjusted highlights in DPP, a little noise reduction and smart sharpened to resized tiff.
The aerial antics are great to watch, they are very big but no slouches when it comes to action.

Sharp and nice wing form, wishing they were a little more separated though

Another interesting pose. Amazing how close they appear to each other. Nice and sharp with clear looks at both eyes. Perhaps a bit more room to left and below. Nasty looking beaks on them.

I really like the action on this one.
Both birds have nice wing positions.
I might do a bit more noise reduction on the BG.
The grey clouds look really nice,
    Gail

I think this is a neat action portrait, Jonathan. I like the 3D quality of it and the interesting sky. Great sharpness and I'm fine with the comp.

Excellent sharpness and eye contact, Richard. As mentioned, a little more separation would have been preferred.

    Terrific shot.
Love the clouds. They give the image a dramatic feel to it.
Two great poses and exposed well.
Wish the top bird's neck did not intersect the wing of the bottom bird.
    Still a great shot.
