    Default Black-Bellied Dipper

    Hi all

    I spend most of the day yesterday photographing a Black-Bellied Dipper that have appeared in a stream that runs through a town near were I live, I had some perfect weather so here is the photo hope you like. regards Ryan

    Ryan:

    A fat little fellow, good shooting angle, nice display of feet.

    The yellow branch in the background is bright enough to be distracting. If possible, it would have been nice to move at the time of the shoot to get it out of your field.

    In post, I would try to tone it down a bit, so it has less impact.

    The image composition works for me.

    This is nice, I feel like the shot takes me right there with him, some of the white spots could go and that green twig is bright and distracting.

    Low angle is very good Ryan and looks like it nicely focused too, liking also the eye contact with the camera...have to agree the bright stick behind tends to catch the eye somewhat

    I really like the nice low shooting angle. Exposure was also handled very well with lots of detail showing on breast. Good suggestions about the bg.
