I like the raised foot, blurred wing tip, perch, sharpness, HA and composition. Nice image Gail!

Hi Gail, love the raised foot and the subtle head turn. Exposure looks very good and so does the sharpness.
Lovely image. Minor nit: I wish the wings stretched back all the way.

Pretty wing spread with nice detail. I wish the perch wasnt so darn straight but that's nature for you :) May see you sometime this spring?

Sweet and simple image, Gail. Really like the gradient background, and the perfect head turn towards you. Wish for a full wing extension but still a nice wingspread.

Beautiful image, Gail. So sharp for such a tiny bird. I agree that the bg makes this stand out.

Beautiful image Gail. From the thin vertical perch, great pose, to the gradient BG this image is very clean. Techs are perfect. Well done.

An awful lot to like about this one Gail, super sharp shot and the background is the perfect contrast against the birds color tones

Great timing with the far foot in the air and the wings up!

Hi Gail, tack sharp, and just love how the kingbird is perched high on the thin perch. Good detail in the darker plumage, and the graduated blue BG is awesome.

    Excellent shot.
I really like the gradient background, great perch, the raised foot and wing position really add interest to the shot.
    Well done.

The comp really makes this one work, Gail.
As noted, a full wingspan would have been ideal, but this is pretty nice.
The perch on this long skinny branch and the position of the bird in the frame is well thought out
    and looks very nice.

I'm late coming to this one, but wanted to add my congrats. I love the simplicity of the image, and the gradation of the background. Raised foot and almost perfect wing extension complete a very fine image.
